Over the weekend, I had my first California National Park adventure. On a whim, we threw our coats and some toboggans in the car and headed towards the snow. And the snow did not disappoint. Thank goodness daddy's Man vs. Nature episode ended well - as did my first skiing experience (see movie below).
My toboggan.
This is as close as I get to the slopes! I think that's Daddy on the ski lift. BBBRRRRRR!!!!!!
BBBRRRRRR is right! My first time snowboarding in about 3 years! It was 9 degrees at the top of the mountain; visibility was 20 feet at the top and 100 feet at the bottom. I took two runs from the top of the mountain; I couldn't see anything either time. My goggles would ice up in about 10 seconds. The snow was so heavy; it felt like someone was throwing snowballs at me all the way down the mountain.

I'm glad to know that you were smart enough to stay in where it was warm!
