Mommy and Daddy are CRAZY!!!

They just signed up for this:

Here is some more info on the challenge...

Tough Mudder

It does sound like fun (except for the Electroshock Therapy obstacle), but Mommy and Daddy said I had to be 18 to compete in the Tough Mudder, so I have it on my calendar. In 14 years and 350 days, I'm signing up!

Mommy and Daddy only have until September 18th to get ready though.

New Twist For Our Weekend Bike Rides!

Mommy and Daddy said they had a new bike for me to ride, but I never thought it would be this much fun!

Mommy borrowed this bike attachment from one of her coworkers. They wanted to see if I liked it, and to make sure I wouldn't fall off. I have to admit, I was a little nervous at first (mommy was too), but it was really fun!

My favorite part of the ride was to let Daddy move into the lead, and then tell Mommy to go SUPER FAST, and leave Daddy in the dust. After 10 miles of that, Mommy was pretty tired.

We had a little problem with Mommy's bike too. We had a little accident on our last ride, and one of the spokes on Mommy's bike broke. Who knew all the spokes were important, because about half way into this bike ride, her bike started popping spokes. Here is what her tire looked like after the ride.

You could say Mommy's tire was holding on by a string (or a spoke). Luckily, Daddy brought my old bike seat, and I moved over to Daddy's bike before anything bad happened.

Our National Pastime

Here are some video highlights of my recent baseball exhibition in the backyard. I really like playing baseball, some days I like to play catch and some days I like to take batting practice more. Here is one of my batting sessions.

I know, Daddy needs to work on some new words to tell me if I'm doing well, how about "Good Job", or "Great One", or "Awesome" or "Sweet"! "Nice" is nice, but it's not that nice.

And Daddy says everyone likes to watch baseball bloopers, so here are mine :-)

Yes, It Can Happen Anywhere!

I know how everyone loves to see where I might take a nap next. So here you go! Yep, we are in Whole Foods!

I am usually really helpful while shopping, but this day I just wasn't feeling it - as you can see.

Stay tuned for my next wacky napping spot...

Getting Ready For Summer

Daddy took me to the Sports Authority yesterday. We were meeting Mommy, she needed to look for running shoes for her marathon training. We got there early so we went shopping.

No, I didn't get any football stuff. Daddy said I was still a little small for full contact football, but I like the shoulder pads! We ended up getting a baseball glove, a Nerf bat and ball. I like playing catch with daddy and trying to hit the ball. Daddy says he will make me a tee ball "T" (I don't know what that is) to help my batting practice, even though I was doing pretty good hitting daddy's underhand pitching.

The Zoo Weekend

One Thursday, I told Mommy that I wanted to go to the Zoo she said 'Sure, we can do that, maybe this weekend?' I was sooooooo excited! I didn't sleep well that night or the next, but I was still ready to go to the Zoo on Saturday! I was up really early on Saturday, trying to get Mommy and Daddy going, it didn't go over very well (they said the zoo was not open at 4:30 in the morning), but a few hours later I was finally able to get them going. But, there was a slight flaw in my Zoo plan. How was I supposed to know there was more than one Zoo, so we ended up at the San Francisco Zoo.

We did see a lot of cool animals, but there far fewer rides than I was expecting. And wouldn't you know it, my energy started to fade, and soon I was just a car ride away from a nap.

I was able to get a quick pose in with some nice spring flowers.

On the way back to the car, I told Mommy and Daddy that I still wanted to go to 'zoo number 2'. I was trying to tell them that I wanted to go back to the Zoo with the rides down in San Jose - Happy Hollow Zoo and Park. They said it was too late to go to another zoo today but maybe tomorrow. That was all I needed to here, after that, (and about 10 minutes in the car) I was asleep.

So Sunday we went to another zoo. Mommy and Daddy told me it was more of a Horticultural Theme Park than a zoo. I didn't know what that meant but if it meant more rides you could count me in, and boy were there rides!

They had a strawberry spinning ride.

And race cars.

And a Carousel.

And a Happy Bouncy Fish Ride.

And a spinning garlic ride - only in California.

And a spinning seat ride.

And firetrucks. As you can tell from the video I was missing my co-pilot...

But as you can see, my blanket was able to make the second ride.

I Do Love Driving!

My Uncle Chris sent us this video of me, driving my cousin McKenzie's old Jeep at my Grandma's house, as you can see I really like off roading!

McKenzie likes giving me lessons and making videos, at the same time!
