Day at the Apple Orchard

Autumn is prime time for visiting our local North Georgia apple orchard. In addition to the traditional apple harvesting process, I quite enjoyed all the other activities as well including milking Buttercup the Cow, taking a tractor ride, sliding down their gigantesco slide, and visiting the petting zoo. The hot and fresh fried apple pies and apple fritters were delicioso too! Here are some pictures from our day at the orchard...

Mommy and Daddy gave me a few tips on picking the perfect apple.

Guess they are right,
the apples really don't fall far from the tree...

I found that putting them into the basket was as fun
as pouring them out!

Buttercup, the Vaca
MOOOOOOO!!!!

I am a natural on the tractor.

WEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

Apple picking is fun!

Looks like Jonas could be an apple farmer --he's having a great time. Was this Ellijay? Did he get any cider?

Jonas,
It looks like you had a great time at the apple farm. That slide looks so high--weren't you scared? I would have been.
